Black women, so long underrepresented and undervalued in the history of women’s rights,  are brought to light during this hour-long presentation. “Before Kamala”, hosted byJennifer Rolle, honors   a small group of Black suffragists while revisting  crucial historical moments leading to the passing of the 19th Amendment —  and the fallout after the 1920 ruling.
